Terms of Service

The Relationship Stack is a digital product ecosystem designed to help individuals and couples understand, evaluate, and intentionally improve the structure of their relationships. It is composed of three modules:

All modules are delivered digitally through a web application. The platform is operated by The Relationship Stack ("we," "us," or "the company"). By using any part of this platform, you ("user" or "you") agree to these Terms of Service in full.

These tools are designed to support self-reflection, awareness, and intentional decision-making in relationships. They are informational and educational in nature — not diagnostic, therapeutic, or prescriptive.

The outputs you receive — including profile results, evaluation scores, domain breakdowns, and recommended frameworks — are generated based on your own responses to structured questionnaires and interpreted through proprietary models. They reflect patterns in your inputs, not clinical evaluations of your mental health, relationship viability, or personal character.

You should not use results from this platform as a substitute for professional guidance. If you or your partner are experiencing significant distress, conflict, or mental health challenges, we encourage you to seek support from a qualified professional.

• Results are informational — not diagnostic.
• The platform does not assess mental health, personality disorders, or clinical conditions.
• Scores and profiles do not predict relationship success or failure.
• Nothing here constitutes couples therapy or counseling.

To use The Relationship Stack, you must be at least 18 years of age. By using this platform, you represent and confirm that you meet this requirement.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, honest responses throughout all assessments. The quality of your results depends directly on the accuracy of your inputs.
• Use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
• Take full responsibility for how you interpret and act on your results. The platform provides information — decisions remain yours.
• Not use the platform in any way intended to harm, deceive, or manipulate another person.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the assessment system, scoring methodology, or content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms or use the platform in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.

Certain modules — including the Relationship Architecture Evaluation (RAE) — require a one-time payment to access. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

• Digital delivery: Access to purchased content is granted immediately upon successful payment. There is no physical product shipped.
• Pricing: Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change. Any price change will not affect purchases already completed.
• Access scope: Your purchase grants access to the specific module and tier selected. It does not include future modules, partner evaluations (unless purchased), or upgrades unless separately purchased.
• Partner evaluation: RAE Partnership pricing covers both participants in a single relationship evaluation session. Each partner accesses the platform independently.

All transactions are final at the point of access. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your payment method and acknowledge that digital content is delivered immediately.

Because our products are delivered digitally and access is granted at the moment of purchase, we are generally unable to offer refunds once content has been accessed. This is consistent with standard practice for digital products.

That said, we recognize that things sometimes go wrong. We will review refund requests in the following situations:

• Technical errors: If a technical failure prevented you from accessing content you paid for, we will investigate and resolve the issue — including issuing a refund if appropriate.
• Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same purchase, we will correct this promptly.
• Billing errors: If a payment was processed in error or you did not authorize the charge, please contact us and we will review your request.

To request a refund review, contact us at the address listed in Section 10 within 7 days of your purchase. Please include your order confirmation and a brief description of the issue.

The Relationship Stack offers optional partnership features that allow you to invite another person to complete a shared evaluation. The following applies to all partner participation:

• Voluntary participation: Invitation does not obligate participation. Your partner must choose to accept and complete their portion of the evaluation independently.
• Independent responses: Each participant completes their assessment separately. Responses are not visible to the other participant during the evaluation.
• No verification: We do not verify the accuracy of responses provided by either participant. Results are based entirely on self-reported inputs.
• Consent: By inviting a partner, you confirm that you have their consent to share their contact information with the platform for the purpose of sending an invitation.
• Separate agreement: Your partner, by accepting the invitation and completing the evaluation, agrees to these Terms of Service independently.

The Relationship Stack is not responsible for how participants interpret or act on shared results. Results are provided for informational purposes and should not be used as a basis for ultimatums, pressure, or coercion in a relationship.

All content, frameworks, assessments, scoring methodologies, written materials, visual designs, and structural models within The Relationship Stack — including the Optimal Partner Profile, the Relationship Architecture Evaluation, and The Connection Stack — are the intellectual property of The Relationship Stack and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your purchase of access does not transfer ownership of any part of the platform or its content. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own private purposes.

• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or resell any content from this platform.
• You may not use assessment questions, scoring logic, frameworks, or written content in any commercial context without written permission.
• Sharing your personal results with others for personal, non-commercial purposes is permitted.
• You may not create derivative products, services, or assessments based on the platform's content or methodology.

Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in termination of access and may be subject to legal action.

The Relationship Stack is provided on an "as is" basis. While we work to ensure the platform functions reliably and the content is thoughtfully developed, we make no guarantees — express or implied — about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any results for any particular purpose.

• No outcome guarantees: Results reflect patterns in your responses — they do not predict or guarantee any specific relationship outcome.
• No liability for decisions: Any decisions you make — personal, relational, or otherwise — based on your results are your own. We are not responsible for the consequences of those decisions.
• No liability for third-party actions: We are not responsible for how your partner or any other person responds to or uses evaluation results.
• Service availability: We aim for consistent availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary downtime or technical issues.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Relationship Stack's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any aspect of The Relationship Stack at any time — including features, assessment content, pricing, and these Terms of Service. Changes will not affect purchases already completed.

When we make material changes to these terms, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. For significant changes, we may also notify users via email if an address has been provided.

Your continued use of the platform after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with a change, you should discontinue use of the platform.
